AFTS was proud to bring Paul Midura to Springfield. We chose to feature the portion of his work that is inspired by social and political issues. It is this art that runs the gamut from humorous to tragic. His messages are varied, from depictions of the human condition and observations about threats to democracy, to real-life solutions. Also featured were several of his pencil portraits of political and social activists.
