In-Person/Virtual Intro to Street Photography Workshop
Welcoming smart phones to the digital age has allowed people much more access to photography than we believe. Every one of us has experienced going to a new place, whipping our phone out, and snapping a photo. This has given us the opportunity to quiet down, examine our surroundings, and photograph off instinct - the key pointers to being a street photographer. In my workshop, we will dive into what truly makes a street photographer (Is it the eye? Is it the tool itself?) and examine the world around us in a new light with no prior knowledge or experience. Students will leave with an idea of composition, lighting, and a heightened curiosity to exploring the mundane.
