About the event
Join Teah of Teah's Florals for a hands-on, hour-and-a-half workshop on constructing your own floral moss mound — part of AFTS Gallery's Art Access Days, where we bring fun, free, and educational workshops to the community to learn a new skill or expand on an existing hobby.
What to expect
Mingle & Munch — Kick off the workshop mingling with fellow guests over floral-themed snacks featuring edible flowers.
Materials & Demonstration — Teah will introduce all the materials you'll be working with — moss, blooms sourced from a local farm, chicken wire, bowls, and floral tape — followed by a live demonstration on constructing the moss base and styling it with blooms in a variety of design approaches.
Hands-On Creation — Guests will then build their own floral moss mound to take home!
